In recent years, I was sick. Sick enough that I spent most of my time in pain and sleeping. The tiny bit of movement and energy I could spare was all for my child. As I recovered, all I desired was flowers. I have always loved floral art but the passion grew and grew. I needed more flowers. I took up gardening. Now as I continue to heal and improve all I see is my desire to bloom and watch things grow around me. This is my first large piece I took up when I was finally able to work on large canvas again. It's a story of joy, the desire to create that is no longer stifled by illness. A story of the desire to not only survive but thrive and tend to beautiful growth.
